Eleanor Clapham
Eleanor is the creator of Cheeky Tunes and a mother of 3.
She has a Bachelor Degree in Performing Arts at the University of Wollongong.
She had her first taste of fame when she became well known in Vietnam as the first Non Vietnamese person to study and perform with the tradition Vietnamese theatre and has performed 2 one woman shows at the Opera House in Hanoi.
After having children Eleanor found herself singing more nursery rhymes than pop songs and started volunteering at the local playgroup holding a song and dance time for preschoolers.
Through this experience, she discovered her real passion was in creating music and laughter for children, and so Cheeky Tunes was born.
Cheeky the Monkey
Cheeky is always playing tricks on Eleanor.
'I like to think of Cheeky as a mix between Elmo and Bart Simpson'
Cheeky's animated clips are projected on the screen behind during the show.
'I love the way cheeky is a Monkey but her body is shaped like a toddler. Children relate a lot to Cheeky; She is cheeky and funny and confident at times but also shy and unsure in the beginning. I see a lot of kids warm up and increase in confidence when Cheeky the Monkey arrives.'
